The 2018 Toyota Power Roundup

A closer look at Toyota's most powerful models

After one hundred years of automotive engineering evolution, the modern driver deserves power. DCH Freehold Toyota understands, which is why this month, we’re honoring the top three most powerful models in the Toyota lineup. And the winners are… (Please imagine a drumroll in your head.)

Most Towing Capacity

The 2018 Toyota Tundra (pictured above) comes with a standard 5.7-liter Aluminum i-FORCE V8 engine capable of producing up to 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque, not to mention propelling this workhorse over mountains and down the interstate with equal ease. And not only can you seat up to six passengers comfortably on the inside, but you can also tow up to 10,200 lbs. That’s a lot of gear.

Most Powerful Hybrid

The 2018 Prius Prime combines a revolutionary 1.8-liter 4-cylinder aluminum DOHC engine with a whopping 90kW permanent magnet AC synchronous motor. What’s really impressive is that this legendary hybrid can go as far as 640 miles on a full tank with an EPA-estimated 133 MPGe.* The future is now.

Most Powerful Sound System

Recently, Toyota gave us a sneak peek at the totally redesigned 2019 Avalon, and the word “impressive” doesn’t do it justice. In the long list of cutting-edge features of the new Avalon is an available 1200W premium JBL® sound system. The 14 strategically placed speakers produce precisely tuned 7.1-channel surround sound, which not only creates immaculate sound quality, but also actively works to create a peacefully quiet ride.

These are just the top three models on our list, and there are many more feats of strength from Toyota we would love to tell you about. So chug that energy drink, down that double espresso, or crush whatever rocket fuel you’re consuming, and come see us at DCH Freehold Toyota or contact us to learn more about the powerful options we have in our showroom.
